Many‑Spirit is the project’s response to Jung’s anima/animus binary. The artists reject the forced duality of male/female, light/dark, self/other. Instead, Many‑Spirit holds that two or more things are true at once, and that a single person is multiple people multiple times a day.

Frankee, another clown creation of Lyndsey, dramatizes this condition. In a video piece set to original music by Mallory, Frankee wakes with joy and then spends minutes trying on hat after hat—each persona slightly wrong, none quite feeling like himself. Mallory tracked her own hats over a single day: mother, employee, chef, chauffeur, artist, daughter, janitor, girlfriend, “me.” At least eight distinct identities, swapped thirty times between 3:32 am and 8:00 pm.
