GROW WITH ME
IN DEPTH

HOW IT WORKS

A one-of-a-kind way to watch your special someone grow—on canvas. Be it child, pet, parent, or chosen family— Grow with Me IS A LONG-TERM PORTRAIT THAT EVOLVES WITH YOU.

1. Start With One Special Moment

Choose a moment to begin--newborn, first birthday, kindergarten, adoption day, wedding day--whatever feels meaningful. I’ll create a custom, hand-painted portrait on canvas that captures your subject with care, artistry, and intention.

2. Add New Chapters Over Time

As your family or story evolves, you can commission updates to the same canvas--each one a new layer of meaning. Think of it like rings on a tree—your canvas grows with your subject(s), telling their story through art. You decide when and how to add each new portrait.

3. Custom Every Step of the Way

Every “Grow With Me” portrait is tailored to you. You choose:

  • The palette and aesthetic (realistic, stylized, soft, playful, etc.)

  • The canvas size and how much room you want to grow into

  • The frequency of updates (yearly, milestone-based, spontaneous)

  • Whether to include symbols, text, quotes, or setting changes

  • How many people or pets to include, and when to add them

This is your story—told your way.

4. Consult First, Commit When Ready

Because every portrait is so customized, I offer a free consultation to talk through things like:

  • Canvas size and how much growth room to plan

  • Palette/style options

  • Number of subjects and/when they'll be added

  • Milestone timing (e.g., yearly, birthdays, school years, special events)

  • Background evolution – Does it stay simple or grow too?

  • Inclusion of text or symbolism – Names, quotes, favorite objects, etc.

  • Budget range and payment options

  • Storage and handling – Who keeps the canvas between updates?

After we chat, I’ll send you a clear, customized quote based on your choices.

What Does It Cost?

Initial Canvas & First Portrait

Each Grow With Me portrait begins as a standalone, display-worthy painting. It's a complete piece you can hang and love from day one.

  • Small (10x20") – starts at $300

Ideal for a single subject with 2–3 future updates

  • Medium (16x24") – starts at $450

Great for more detailed portraits or 3–5 progressions

  • Large (20x30” and up) – starts at $600+

Best for multiple subjects or long-termstorytelling.

Tip: The more updates or subjects you want to include, the larger your canvas should be. We can discuss how much room to “grow into” during your consultation.

 Future Add-On Portraits (Updates)

Each new portrait is painted directly onto the original canvas.

  • Simple update (head & shoulders, minimal change) – $100–$200

  • Full update (new pose, setting, or major life stage shift) – $250–$400

  • Sibling or multiple-subject additions – quoted based on complexity

You pay per update. There's no subscription or contract--just commission each chapter when it's meaningful to you.

Optional Extras

  • Custom backgrounds or symbols (e.g., hobbies, quotes, favorite toys)

  • Priority timelines for gift-giving or events

Flexible & Personalized

  • Free consultations help you shape a plan that fits your goals and budget

  • Payment plans available for both initial and future updates

  • You're always in control--portraits are added when and how you choose

  • Clear, upfront pricing with no hidden fees

I know trusting an artist with something so personal is a big deal. That’s why everything starts with a conversation, not a contract.

A Note About Payment Plans

I get it—trusting an artist you’ve just met with your money (especially for a long-term project) can feel risky. That’s why I keep things transparent, simple, and low-pressure.

  • No commitment beyond the first portrait. You’re only ever paying for what we agree on up front.

  • Clear communication at every step. You’ll know what to expect, when to expect it, and have full say in the pace of future updates.

  • Payment plans are optional and offered to make meaningful art more accessible—not to pressure you.

If you're ever unsure, we’ll talk it through. I want this to feel good for both of us.
